Tony Romo’s career as a broadcaster has started off with a bang. Romo has gathered universal praise for his ability to predict plays before the snap. However, Brent Musburger is not buying into the hype.
Musburger is a legend in the field of sports broadcasting. He has a long tenure ranging from CBS to ESPN and ABC. Virtually any sport these networks cover, you can bet Musburger has covered it. Currently, Musburger operates at VSiN, a broadcasting site that deals with the gambling aspect of sports.
Musburger was able to catch the Packers-Bengals game this past Sunday, where he was able to listen to Romo as a broadcaster. Needless to say, Musburger is not a fan.

Romo has blown away fans with his predictions. It truly is amazing to see an offense or defense do exactly what Romo says they will do. He has done a great job for being new to the broadcasting profession.

Time will tell if what Musburger said will come true. Romo definitely has an advantage when predicting plays because he is fresh from the NFL, though he spent his last season injured.
The Romo hype train may not slow down anytime soon. Even though Romo never brought a championship or really deep playoff runs, he was still very liked by the people of Dallas. He is a likable guy whose charm and knowledge of the game will keep him in the broadcasting profession for years to come.
