Okay. It’s safe to say I was well off. I thought it wasn’t bad… But it is unfortunately… Here’s a statement from the NBA…
Subsequent examinations and an MRI confirmed a medial meniscus tear to his right knee, which will require surgery. Rose is out indefinitely, and will not accompany the team on the rest of its current road trip.
So yes it’s pretty significant. I don’t think he’ll be back by Christmas, but the Bulls have had experience playing without him so I think they’ll be ok. But it’s better to have him than not have him eh?
So to recap… Out indefinitely with a torn meniscus on his right knee, requires surgery and I’m guessing he’ll be out for 2-3 months.
