The Washington Wizards have received some bad news just days before opening their training camp with point guard John Wall ruled out for up to two-months with a stress related injury to his left patella.
There hasn’t been much information released at this stage but it is believed that surgery will not be required and that Wall – an emerging All-Star – will be able to heal up with rest and rehabilitation.
The Wizards open their training camp on October 2nd amid renewed optimism for the young, talented, squad they have assembled. Having their best player out for eight-weeks will set their season back from the outset.
