After a few weeks of speculation on the future of some New York Knicks players there is reportedly one player that is done with the Knicks.
After signing a 5 year, $100 Million dollar deal in 2010 with the team, Amar’e Stoudemire has reached an agreement to be bought out by the team.
It’s all over for Knicks fans. Amar’e is gone and he’s free to sign anywhere.
From Frank Isola of the New York Daily News.

As ESPN reported last week, Mavericks are frontrunners to sign Amar'e Stoudemire once he clears waivers. Clippers and Suns also interested

Stoudemire becomes a free agent and is able to sign with any team after the Knicks buyout his $18 million salary for this season and Stein believes that the early favorites are still the Dallas Mavericks.
Stoudmire’s list of teams that do want him are all teams that are legit title contenders and if they do add Amar’e, it may bring them to the next level in their respective conferences.
There is one interesting thing to note though. One darkhorse team that, if they do bring in Amar’e, could possibly be getting back to the NBA Finals with his addition.
From Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.
Sources: Clippers and Mavericks have strong interest in Amar'e Stoudemire, but one darkhorse with level of intrigue is San Antonio.
