Donald Sterling has taken the bullet and has accepted Steve Ballmer’s $2 billion offer for the Los Angeles Clippers and has also dropped his lawsuit against the NBA. Here’s a quote from attorney Maxwell Belcher via The Associated Press
Sterling has made an agreement with the NBA to resolve all their differences and as co-owner has given his consent to a deal that was negotiated by his wife, Shelly Sterling, to sell the team.
I’ll be honest. History said that Sterling would’ve battled till the end. But bit by bit he realised he might as well take the money and dissappear.
I still think $2 billion is crazy money. I know Ballmer is minted but damn!
