The Phoenix Suns remade their backcourt Thursday, sending Goran Dragic to the Miami Heat, moving Isaiah Thomas to the Boston Celtics, and acquiring Brandon Knight from Milwaukee, league sources told Yahoo Sports.
As part of the Knight trade, Milwaukee gets Michael Carter-Williams, Tyler Ennis and Miles Plumlee. The Suns also will get guard Kendall Marshall from the Bucks. The 76ers will get the 2015 first-round pick the Los Angeles Lakers owed the Suns as part of the Steve Nash trade. The pick is top-five protected.
So the Suns bring in Brandon Knight and an injured Kendall Marshall, who was once a member of the Suns in this deal. That goes along with their acquisition of Danny Granger and others in the Goran Dragic trade.
Bucks bring in a big point guard in Michael Carter-Williams in a shock to many people, including Carter-Williams.
I can't lie I'm shocked. I love this city thank you for everything. I can honestly say I gave it my all. I wish Philly nothing but the best

Bucks make a move to bring in a guy that Coach/president of basketball operations Jason Kidd might see has a high ceiling. Especially considering that Carter-Williams is a point guard that plays similar to how Kidd did in his younger days when he first joined the NBA. Tyler Ennis is a solid reserve point guard that pushes Jerryd Bayless into more of a shooting guard role with the team and they bring in Miles Plumlee who can develop coming off the bench to supplement the loss of Larry Sanders due to a buyout.
Philadelphia 76ers just continue to stockpile picks as they get a first rounder in 2015 that immediately makes them the biggest Los Angeles Lakers fans.
