Breaking Bad could be making a comeback in a major way. For what is known as one of the greatest television series of all time and arguable the best in the 21st century, Breaking Bad may comeback in the form of a film. Last year it was reported that creator Vince Gilligan was working on a sequel to the series but in film format. It was later reported that the movie will revolve around Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman and that due to scheduling conflicts Bryan Cranston and others would be left out.
Now, a reported cast list has been leaked and Cranston is a part of the list. The film titled ‘Greenbrier’ will reportedly have this cast (Via Revenge of the Fans):
The cast of Greenbrier includes several key Breaking Bad players, including Jonathan Banks (Mike), Jesse Plemons (Todd), Charles Baker (Skinny Pete), Matt Jones (Badger), Robert Forster (Ed, aka The Disappearer), Tess Harper (Mrs. Pinkman), and Kevin Rankin (Kenny) and none other than Walter White aka Bryan Cranston.
This is obviously exciting news for Breaking Bad fans as we can finally see some of our beloved characters return in the form of a movie and I’m sure everyone is here for it.
While there are no plot details, the film has already begun production so if Cranston is included it would be in a small role, because the film is said to revolve around the other characters — tying up loose ends that the story left open to interpretation.
Regardless, we’ll be getting a Breaking Bad movie sooner than you’d think.
