Though Brandon Rush was a late lottery pick by the Portland Trail Blazers in the 2008 NBA Draft, the Kansas product has bounced around NBA benches for the most part. Rush has rarely had an opportunity to play big minutes as he has typically been relegated to a reserve role throughout his career.
After playing last season with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rush went into this offseason a free agent and remained on the open market until now. With the Wolves opting to go with the younger option and re-signing Shabazz Muhammad, the 32-year-old Rush has agreed to a contract for this upcoming season with the Milwaukee Bucks according to his agency Priority Sports:
Congrats to our guy @BRush_25 on signing w the @Bucks so excited for this opportunity for you! Let's have a great year! #FeartheDeer

Though Brandon Rush is more than capable of being a serviceable NBA 3-and-D wing, he has struggled in the past to remain consistent with his game and he will likely have a limited role with the Bucks.
Rush enjoyed the most success of his career in a Golden State Warriors uniform where he had two separate stints and provided nice numbers off the bench both times. Last year with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rush averaged just 4.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 47 appearances, 33 of them being starts due to the injury to Zach LaVine.
Look for Rush to provide additional depth on a youthful Bucks roster with plenty of exciting talent.
