Bradley Beal and the Washington Wizards are in a tough predicament. They are tied 2-2 in a series against the Atlanta Hawks, without home court advantage, and most likely, without their star point guard John Wall for the rest of the series. That being said, they are not backing down at all from the Hawks. In fact they have pushed them more since Wall’s absence.
When it came down to it in Game 4, it came down to one possession, where Kyle Korver caught the ball and he was fouled. The way he caught the ball, makes people like Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal wonder if he travelled.
According to ESPN:
Beal was asked whether he thought Korver traveled in the closing seconds, right before Millsap was fouled and scored the game’s last two points.
“Yeah, but they didn’t call it,” Beal said. “Oh, well.”
Take a look at the video brought to you by BBallBreakdown:
Korver clearly traveled, but it was too late to call it for any of the referees. That could have cost the Wizards the series, because they could have possibly taken a 3-1 lead into Atlanta. Now they will have to play a best-of-3 series to see who will move on to the East Finals.
