Bradley Beal may have struggled with shooting in the Game 1 victory in overtime, but he made sure things would turn out different on the stat sheet in the 117-106 Game 2 victory. Instead of settling for outside jumpshots, Beal spent most of his night attacking the rim and getting high quality shots that could be tipped in if they were to miss.
Beal shot 12/21 and only took 5 3-point shots in the game. Anytime Beal is getting 16 looks from inside the arc, he is going to have a night similar to the one he had last night. Seeing Beal choose to attack the rim shows a lot of growth from a player who has been very productive in 3-point shooting throughout his short career.
For Beal, he finished the night with a team high 28 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists, and a steal in a team high 42 minutes of play. With Beal getting to the rim as easily as he did last night, this series may be over fairly soon.
