Bradley Beal has dealt with a large number of injuries throughout his brief three-year career, and is looking to get healthy throughout the offseason so those injuries can be limited next season.
Following From Washington Post.
“My goal this offseason is staying healthy,” Beal said. “That’s always what’s set me back each year I’ve been here. So my biggest thing is just staying healthy, taking care of my body, getting stronger. But I think if I can put together a full season, I can be one of the elite players in this league.”
If Beal can stay away from injuries next season, the Wizards will see another improvement in their record and could reach their goal of having a 50-win season for the first time since 1978-79 when they were called the Washington Bullets. After dealing with injuries and slumping towards the later parts of the season, Washington was unable to meet their 50-win goal this season, but look to make history come next year.
The Wizards need Beal just as much as Beal needs the Wizards. The future is coming in DC, and history will be made in the coming years. Beal remaining healthy will turn him into one of the best shooting guards in the league, and will prepare Washington for their future success.
