
After dominating over the holiday weekend, Ralph Breaks the Internet stayed on top this week. In a quiet week, Disney’s follow-up to Wreck-It Ralph needed only $25.7 million domestically to comfortably take the top spot. That pushes Ralph‘s total box office draw up to $119.2 million against a reported $175 million budget.
Then, The Grinch jumped Creed II to take second this week with $17.7 million. That pushes the Christmas reboot’s ballooning box office haul to over $200 million heading into December. Falling to third, Creed II pulled in $16.8 million in its second week to push its total up to $81.1 million.
Rounding out the top 5 again this week, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald increased its total draw up to $134.3 million with $11.2 million domestically. Finally, in fifth, Bohemian Rhapsody pulled in a respectable $8.1 million, pushing its total to $164.4 million.
Outside the top 5, the only new release this week, The Possession of Hannah Grace, landed in seventh. The low budget horror film made $6.5 million in its opening weekend against a $9.5 million budget.
