The Celtics figure to be a problem in next season’s playoffs if their team is healthy. Danny Ainge and Co just keeping adding pieces, making their bench deeper especially after today’s acquisition of Courtney Lee via a sign-and-trade with the Houston Rockets.
Lee is heading to Beantown in exchange for Boston’s JaJuan Johnson. Boston could not afford Lee’s reported $5 million contract without doing a sign-and-trade which the Rockets gladly accepted. Lee was an unrestricted free agent because Houston did not make the 25-year old a qualifying offer.
