
Update: Released on $3,500 bond, Boosie exited the jail April 9 just before 1.pm. reported by Channel 2 Action News. Boosie reportedly responded to the charges saying “Ain’t nothing serious.” His passenger Antonio Allen also gained release.
Boosie Badazz, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was arrested in Newnan, Georgia Monday. He is facing felony drug and firearm charges. Former NFL player Antonio Allen was also arrested and charged.
According to TMZ, Boosie and Allen were pulled over during a traffic stop when an officer saw the white Dodge Charger they were driving swerving lanes and “nearly sideswiping” another vehicle. The cop reportedly smelled a strong scent of marijuana coming from the charger after he pulled them over.
The Newnan Times-Herald reports that police searched the car and found 11 grams of marijuana and a 9mm loaded handgun. It’s reported that a large sum of cash and a vape pen containing suspected THC oil were also found.
In addition, the white Dodge Charger was determined to be a rental, however, the vehicle was not registered under Boosie or Allen’s name.
The pair are currently in the Coweta County Jail. Bond has not been set for their release yet.
