News that Charlie Cox would star in Marvel’s upcoming Daredevil has been announced.
The Boardwalk Empire star will play the title character also known as Matt Murdock in the upcoming Netflix series.
Cox is said to make a great Murdock due to his previous work on camera in Stardust and Boardwalk Empire.
According to Slash Film, Cox has been able to portray a wide range of emotions and traits from aloof yet confident, to cold and sinister, which will aid him in the Daredevil role.
Daredevil is expected to start shooting in New York in the upcoming months, with new episodes airing on Netflix in 2015.
The series will eventually be followed by Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and Iron Fist, before all four characters team up to become The Defenders.
