Ama Qamata Stars In The First ‘Blood & Water’ Trailer

Ama Qamata stars in the first trailer for Netflix’s upcoming teenage drama, Blood & Water. The new series from the streaming giant follows the story of Puleng Khumalo as she enters the world of an affluent boarding school while she uncovers family secrets.

“After crossing paths at a party, a Cape Town teen sets out to prove whether a private-school swimming star is her sister who was abducted at birth,” Netflix writes.

The show is powered by a talented cast that includes Qamata, Khosi Ngema, Gail Mabalane, Thabang Kamogelo Molaba and many others. Behind the scenes, the series is directed and written by Travis Taute, Nosipho Dumisa and Daryne Joshua.
Blood & Water will hit the internet on Wednesday, May 20. In the meantime, check out the full trailer above.
