BlocBoy JB returned to his hometown of Memphis to perform during the Beale Street Music Festival and now finds himself behind bars.
The Look Alive rapper who popularized the “Shoot” dance could be in serious trouble. Fox13 reports, Blocboy JB, real name James Baker faces charges including Convicted Felon in Possession of a handgun, speeding, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Controlled Substance Marijuana.
At least 20 people were taken into custody including Blocboy JB from a Shelby County home. Blocboy JB was scheduled to perform during the Beale Street Music Festival, an annual event celebrating Memphis In May. The festival headline acts include Cardi B, who will take the stage May 5.
BlocBoy JB currently remains on the festival lineup.
