Bleacher Report has announced that they will renew Take It There hosted by Taylor Rooks for a second season. The show will kick off for a second run on February 12th through YouTube, IGTV, the Bleacher Report app and the Bleacher Report website.
Rooks celebrated the news with a simple tweet. “Feburary 12th, we [are] back,” she wrote.
During the show’s first season, Rooks sat down for interviews with Ja Morant, Kevin Durant, Trae Young, Chris Paul and Saquon Barkley. Rooks and company gathered 20 million total views and nearly 1.5 million social engagements. Moreover, 78% of the show’s YouTube traffic came from viewers under the age of thirty-five.
The news of her show returning to the media platform comes at an interesting time in the sports media space. Bill Simmons is reportedly negotiating a deal for The Ringer with Spotify. Cari Champion has recently left ESPN. Not to mention, Deadspin is making moves in management after a brief period of turbulence.
