11 year veteran Mo Williams will be signing with the Portland Trail Blazers in a two year deal.
With this pickup Williams will look to back up Lillard and make the Blazers bench deeper in hopes of making it to the playoffs.
Williams last played for the Utah Jazz, where he averaged 13 PPG, 2.4 RPG and 6.2 APG. When with Utah they fell short of the playoffs by one game by losing to the Memphis Grizzles.
The Blazers season ended with a 33-49 record and another year without a trip to the playoffs.
The Blazers have gotten a nice veteran point guard who will not just help the team but also help Lilliard improve his game tremendously.
