Blavity House Party is set to take center stage in Music City next weekend. The two-day immersive experience will be headlined by Lil’ Wayne and Monica with additional performances from BLXST, Leon Thomas, Ryan Leslie, Uncle Waffles and many other artists. As the event inches closer, Blavity continues to expand the lineup of live performances. Most recently, Capella Grey, Nesta, Millie Manny and DJ Sophia Rocks have been added to the bill.
“Let’s go crazy this June,” Blavity House Party wrote on Instagram.
“Y’all ready for 2 days of nonstop performances, endless parties and the biggest celebration of #BlackJoy in Nashville, TN!”
The welcomed addition of Capella Grey, Nesta and others comes at the loss of Victoria Monét. The GRAMMY Award winner was forced to pull out of Blavity House Party, Governors Ball and the Roots Picnic due to an unforeseen medical issue.
“I am gutted to share that I will no longer be able to perform at Governors Ball (NYC), Roots Picnic (Philadelphia) or Blavity (Nashville) this June,” she told her fans.
“Candidly I have been dealing with some ongoing health issues that have to be addressed right now, but I will be back out there soon, that’s a promise!”
However, her medical setbacks will not sideline her for long. Monét is set to release the video for her latest single, “Alright,” on Monday, June 10. As for Blavity House Party, everything is set to kick off on June 14, 2024.
