Things appeared to be going well for the Los Angeles Clippers to start the season. They were 15-2 to begin the year. Chris Paul was staking his claim as a real threat for the NBA MVP award, DeAndre Jordan was continuing to do what he does best as a rim-running, shot blocking big man, and Blake Griffin started to come into his own as a passer and a shooter.
But since Thanksgiving, things have not been going well for the Clippers. They are 6-6 in their last 12 games, and they’re fresh off a loss to the 12-14 Washington Wizards in the nation’s capital, ending their four-game winning streak.
But by the time Sunday came to a close, a bad road loss was the least of their worries. The Clippers old injury ways have come back to haunt them. Blake Griffin will once again be sidelined as he undergoes a ‘minor’ knee surgery.

The Clippers officially announced Griffin’s knee surgery. He will miss 3-6 weeks.
The LA Clippers announced today that forward Blake Griffin will undergo a routine arthroscopic procedure on Tuesday, Dec. 20 to remove loose bodies from his right knee.
Griffin is expected to miss approximately three-to-six weeks and will continue to undergo treatment and evaluation by the Clippers medical staff.
