
Ever since it was announced that Denis Villeneuve was going to be taking over the long awaited ‘Blade Runner‘ sequel, film fans around the world lost their collective minds. The director has been behind some of the most innovative and critically acclaimed films of the last decade. Concurrently, the choice of Villeneuve showed that this sequel was not going be playing it safe like many other sequels to older, established films have done in the past. The most recent trailer for ‘Blade Runner: 2049’ further solidifies the choice of Villeneuve. Featuring some of the most daring and beautiful visuals to grace the screen in a major studio blockbuster in quite some time.
