Celebrating his recent performance at this year’s Something In The Water Festival, bLAck pARty has decided to drop some new music. This time around, the Arkansas native has delivered a track called “On My Way” Soulful in sound, yet eclectic in nature, the Willy Yanez-produced track tells the story of bLAck pARty rushing home to see someone near and dear to him.
“I wrote ‘On My Way!’ in the thick of 2020 with Willy Yanez and my father, Kevin Flint. When working on my album, I brought the song with me into 2022 and we pushed to finalize it with Beat Butcha. The song is very close to my heart. It’s more autobiographical than you would think. I’m always late but it’s important to me that the people I love know that I think of them while they wait for me,” he said about the new track.
In addition to delivering new music, bLAck pARty has also announced that his next album, Hummingbird, is on the way. The rising artist’s third studio LP is set to arrive on streaming platforms on July 14, 2022. For now, enjoy “On My Way” below.
