The trade talks with the Brooklyn Nets have been plentiful and repetitive, all season.
There’s deals involving Joe Johnson.
Deals involving Deron Williams.
Deals involving Brook Lopez.
Even a potential buyout involving Kevin Garnett.
One thing does remain a constant though, Nets GM Billy King hasn’t budged on his stance to get the best deal possible before moving pieces around just because.
Following from New York Daily News Stefan Bondy
GM Billy King says he wants to see team get to All-Star break before making any deals. "Then if a deal makes sense, we'll do it."

King doesn’t want to water down his roster at all because he feels his team, which is currently not in the top 8 spots for the Eastern Conference playoffs, needs to make a deal that would help them contend still this year and not just salary dump a couple guys who still have some sort of talent.
King is going to have to move soon though, because the Nets are for sale and when new ownership comes in, there’s no telling what the next move might be by those new owners and who might be the first to go.
No GM is ever safe with new ownership.
