The Bills have reached an agreement with tight end Dawson Knox for a contract extension of $53.6 million through four years with over $31 million in guaranteed money, according to reports from Mike Garafolo from NFL Network. The deal will keep Knox in Buffalo until the 2027 off-season.

The extension comes a month after Knox’s brother, Luke, passed away and the city embraced him and his family to show support to their tight end. Bills fans also raised $200.000 for the P.U.N.T. Foundation in his brother’s name.
“The amount of texts I´ve gotten, the messages, the posts, the moment of silence for the preseason game, it’s just been everything that I expected out of Buffalo and more because this city is incredible … I love all the people in Buffalo and hopefully I’ll be here for a long time”, said Knox in a press conference earlier in the week.
In three seasons with the Bills, Knox has played 42 games and caught 101 passes for 1263 receiving yards. He has 14 touchdowns with a career-high of nine scores in the 2022 season. With Knox locked for the future and their offseason moves, the Bills are a contender for the Super Bowl.
The Bills will play in the season opener against the current champions Los Angeles Rams on Thursday.
