Much has been made about this year’s Super Bowl halftime show. Over the past few months, we’ve heard rumors about everyone from Jay-Z to Cardi B turning down an opportunity perform at the event. However, one Hip-Hop artist has decided to sign on to perform at the mega event. After an incredible run with his “Wish You Here” tour, Travis Scott signed on to perform alongside the headliner, Maroon 5. According to a recent report, it appears that another major Hip-Hop artist could be joining Travis Scott on Super Bowl Sunday.

Big Boi will join Travis Scott and Maroon 5 on February 3rd for the Super Bowl LIII halftime show. The news was confirmed earlier today by the NFL’s official Twitter account. The league tweeted, “It’s official: Maroon 5 will take center stage at Super Bowl LIII! They will be joined by Travis Scott and Big Boi.” By joining the lineup, Big Boi will become the first Atlanta act to join the halftime line-up. Jermaine Dupri will also be curating a week of free concerts leading up to the big game. It’s unclear if more artists will be added, but this line-up will stand for now.
