It was previously revealed that Big Boi had recorded a verse for Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter”, a song that appeared on his Grammy-nominated channel ORANGE album. The final version of “Pink Matter” that appeared on the LP contained a verse from Andre 3000 (the other half of Outkast), but lacked bars from Big Boi. The reason that was given for the absence of his contribution was that their record label did not want any Outkast music to be released prior to a new album.
Big Boi posted a picture (above) to his Tumblr, previewing the lyrics to his verse on a new version of “Pink Matter” featuring both members of Outkast coming next week.
