
Big Boi announces the first installment of Kryptonite Fest, this spring in Atlanta.
2020 is shaping up to be a huge year for music festivals, new and old alike. Sharing the news on social media, the Georgia native expresses how the music festival is a dream come true. Big Boi, one half of rap duo Outkast has used his career to highlight the talent of the south and the Kryptonite Fest lineup furthers that idea.
“I’ve been waiting so long to have my very own festival. To have it in my city is a dream come true and we can’t wait to share this family affair with you. Much love from the bottom of my heart” says Big Boi on Twitter.
The lineup includes hip-hop talents native to the Peach State. Big Boi is joined by Dreamville’s Earthgang, Goodie Mob, and Kneel’n Ray.
Kryptonite Fest takes place at Cadence Bank Amphitheater at Chastain Park in Atlanta, Georgia on April 18, 2020.
