Big Boi, one half of the legendary group Outkast is preparing to release his 3rd solo studio album. ‘Boomiverse’ is on the way and it was kick-star by the releasing of two records steming back to April, ‘Kill Jill’ and ‘Mic Jack’. ‘Boomiverse’ is set to feature an all-star cast and will be releasing this June 16th. The list of features include Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Sleep Brown, Killer Mike, Sleepy Brown and Jeezy. That’s not all, there will be contributions from DJ Dahi, Scott Storch and Organized Noize.
To further build hype and anticipation for the forthcoming album, Boomiverse, Big Boi releases another single. Utilizing two more features we are treated to ‘In The South’. This latest record which can be heard on iTunes/Apple Music gets assistance from the late Pimp C and Gucci Mane.
