Contrary to popular belief; there will be no new Outkast album. This comes as a disappointment to many fans across the globe, but Big Boi is at least giving us some music — Game Of Thrones mixtape — to temper our craving for future Outkast music.
During an interview with Sharon Carpenter of Revolt TV, Big said:
“No, no, no. We’re just doing the tour only, just for the fans. That’s all it is, just the tour.”
“It’s just the Outkast 20th year anniversary, just a way for us to celebrate with our fans, but there’s no album in the works, no.”
Big did mention that he’s working with Common and Wale on the Game Of Thrones project, so be on the lookout for the mixtape to drop sometime this year.
