Dear 2015, why aren’t you here yet? You should know by now that when Beyoncé is planning to release something you shouldn’t make us wait that long, especially when it involves Fashion and Topshop. Three things that should be taken very seriously. Even though we don’t know what happens when we multiply Beyoncé x Topshop, we can surely assume that it can’t be less than amazing. Queen B just announced a 50-50 partnership with Topshop for an athletic streetwear company, Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. It’s scheduled to launch around Fall 2015. Beyoncé’s House of Deréon celebrated it’s 10th anniversary last month and I can’t come up with a better way to celebrate that! There isn’t much info about this partnership except that it will include clothing, footwear and accessories inspired by dance, fitness and sport, but we all know that only Bey can get us this excited for an unnamed fitness and streetwear line.
The UK based brand Topshop is more than enthusiastic to work with the Queen of entertainment according to their statement: “We have been looking at this category as fashion-inspired fitness develops, and know that this is right in our customers’ heartland. Creating a partnership with Beyoncé, one of the most hard-working and talented people in the world, who spends many hours of her life dancing, rehearsing and training is a unique opportunity to develop this category. Being partners with Beyoncé and her team, who have the greatest creative energy and enthusiasm, is inspiring for all of the team at Topshop. We have much to achieve in just under a year, but we are all up for the challenge, and look forward to delivering athletic streetwear in an inventive and exciting way.”
Every bit of this partnership sounds amazing. I expect Bey-u-tiful, drop dead gorgeous and eccentric pieces from this brand that has all the ingredients to be successful. This Beyoncé x Topshop line surely makes me excited for 2015!
