The adult website OnlyFans has been constantly thriving recently. Since March 1, the subscription service has seen a 75% increase. This may largely be due to the stay-at-home orders that are currently in place because of COVID-19. OnlyFans allows creators to charge a subscription fee of their choice which gives users access to their premium content. The site is often used to sell nude photos and videos and other explicit content. The site got an even bigger boost this past week. Megan Thee Stallion recently dropped the surprise remix of her song “Savage” with the queen herself, Beyoncé.
The remix, which premiered on the streaming service TIDAL, sent fans in a frenzy on Twitter, resulting in various trending topics in relation to the song. There was one line particular that most certainly had fans talking. “Hips TikTok when I dance / On that Demon Time, she might start an OnlyFans” Beyonce rapped. This one line helped a spike in traffic to the adult site. A spokesperson from Onlyfans told The Daily Beast the site saw a 15% spike in traffic, after the Beyonce mention in the newly released track. This was a surprise and shock to the adult site’s Co-founder & COO, Tom Stokely. “The surprise call-out from Beyoncé on the ‘Savage’ remix was very exciting for us, to say the least,” in a statement to The Daily Beast. While Beyonce rapped the lyrics, it was none other than Jay-Z who penned it, confirmed by The-Dream.
