With the win, Bernie Sanders slides forward toward the party’s nomination with 118 delegates. However, he still trails behind Biden, who holds over 150 delegates at the moment.
Moving forward, the night’s biggest prizes are still at play in California and Texas. With big wins in those two states, he could possibly slide ahead of Biden in the delegate count. This will be an important night as we move towards six more primary elections next week. Stay tuned for more results and updates throughout the night.
