Remember Ben Gordon? Well, he’s back but not in the way you’d expect.
According to TMZ, the former NBA guard was arrested on Thursday for falsely activating fire alarms inside his apartment complex. That is a misdemeanor charge for Gordon.
The former Bulls, Pistons, Bobcats, and Magic scorer was reportedly locked out of his apartment leading to a “meltdown” of sorts which culminated in his pulling multiple fire alarms. He was taken into custody by the LAPD.
The 34-year-old spent last season playing for the Texas Legends of the NBA D-League presumably as a step towards a potential comeback in the NBA. This latest issue, however, will not be of help to Gordon if he is looking for a job in the NBA. Fortunately, it appears as though the issue was mostly resolved without any other consequences.
We will update the situation as more details emerge.
