
For years now, Roc Nation’s Belly has been apart of some of the biggest hits in The Weeknd’s catalog. The Palestinian musician has been credited for his contributions to “Wanderlust”, “The Hills” and “Earned It”. More recently, the songwriter has turned his focus toward his solo rap career. As a solo act, Belly achieved major success with his project, Mumble Rap. The 2017 body of work was Belly’s eleventh mixtape, but it was his biggest to date. With features from Pusha T and production from Boi-1da, the project earned commercial and critical acclaim. For months now, Belly has been teasing the follow up to his breakout project and today, it is finally here.
Belly’s 2018 follow up to Mumble Rap is called Immigrant and it features the likes of The Weeknd, Meek Mill, M.I.A and more. When asked about the project, Belly said, “With everything going on, I can’t sit by and say nothing. I decided to speak my truth. my album is now called, Immigrant.” Complete with the previously released singles, “Maintain” and “Without You”, Belly is everything you could expect and more on this new project.
