One man tops the list of being the most dominant pass rusher in the NFL since 2004. It’s not Julius Peppers, Clay Matthews, DeMarcus Ware or even Justin Tuck. Jared Allen has dominated opposing offensive lines and abused opposing quarterbacks over the past decade and now he’s taking his talents to a team who has been a surprise to start the 2015 NFL season, the Carolina Panthers.

Scoopage: The Panthers have just agreed to a trade for Bears DE Jared Allen

Reason for such low pick is age and next years contract. Teams don't give up much if anything to rent a guy for a year

The Panthers stand at 3-0 and are currently tied with the Atlanta Falcons for first place in the NFC South. Their defensive line has taken a hit since the end of last season when they lost Greg Hardy in free agency and defensive end Charles Johnson was already ruled out for week 4 with a hamstring injury. Star linebacker Luke Kuechly has missed the past two games with a concussion and his return is still up in the air and as Carolina lost defensive end Frank Alexander in the preseason and their young pass rusher Kony Ealy hasn’t shown much in limited time as a starter.
Jared Allen back into the 4-3 system is a great fit for the defensive end certainly slated to make it into the NFL Hall of Fame one day.
