Today was a big day for Hip Hop, but an even bigger day for the one and only Jay Z. A man that has broken so many barriers within the genre and throughout many areas of his life, expecting the unexpected is a notion that Jay Z can be a living example of. Having an illustrious career, thus far, today was the day that the Reasonable Doubt creator was officially inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame.
Taking to social media to give his thanks and cite many inspirations that included rappers of the old school and new school, Jay Z ended it all off by sharing footage of former President, Barack Obama, giving him an induction speech of his own, for the ceremony.

A great honor and the icing on the cake for this amazing moment, the best thing about it all is that the rapper isn’t anywhere near finished. Check out Barack Obama’s shout out and most importantly, congratulations to Jay Z!
