MIXTAPE: Azealia Banks – ‘SLAY-Z’

Whether you like her or not, chances are that you know who Azealia Banks is and have definitely seen or heard the name, at the very least. If you’re a fan of Azealia Banks, today is officially your lucky day. Just moments ago, a series of leaks occurred that produced new material from Azealia’s new mixtape, Slay-Z. Hopping directly on Twitter, after previously deactivating, the rapper informed fans that the leaks were due to her previous “spiteful” sound engineer that she recently fired. In order to prevent any further leaks from occurring, Azealia granted the wishes of many fans and officially made their day as she took matters into her own hands and released Slay-Z for consumption. Composed of 8 tracks, the mixtapes serves as the first body of work since the release of her debut album, Broke With Expensive taste. Noting that more music is on the horizon as she also finds herself currently working on her sophomore album, the pleasant surprise will definitely hold fans over until more music arrives later this year.
