Avengers: The Best Billion Dollar Story Ever Told…… well not really, not yet……..at least.
A very interesting rumor about Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War has hit the internet. Bleeding Cool, a New York Comic Con attender is making claims that Infinity War 1 & 2 combined will have a combined production budget of 1 billion dollars.
In huddled conversation with very well sourced comic book film insiders in New York bars last night, before New York Comic Con, there was one big topic of conversation. That the next two Avengers films, Infinity War Part One and Two, will have a combined production budget of one billion dollars.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron had a 280 million dollar production budget, so seeing what can happen with Infinity War’s, the number doesn’t seem like it can be too far off. One thing that doesn’t seem right about this budget is that, Bleeding Cool “confirms” that there is no script currently for the films.
And of that, the above the line costs, that paid to the screenwriter, director, producers and principal actors will be a cool four hundred million dollars alone.
And of the actor budget, Robert Downey Jr gets half.
Although this can be true, for now, with no script on the table, this rumor should be taken with a grain of salt. Stick around for any updates from Marvel on this said production budget.
