
It’s Marvel’s world and we are all just living in it. Earlier this week, the Marvel Cinematic Universe made headlines by dropping the first trailer for Captain Marvel on ESPN’s Monday Night Football broadcast. To close out the week, Marvel dropped the title and first trailer for their fourth Marvel film. Coming off of the success of the last film, the new trailer for the Avengers series was met with excitement and awe. As a result, the views for the first trailer piled up quickly. In fact, the views piled up quicker than anyone could have expected.

After twenty-four hours, Marvel has announced that the first trailer for Avengers: Endgame has broken the record for the most views across all platforms for any Disney trailer. The trailer for the 2019 film managed to gather 289 million views in just one day. In comparison, the first trailer for the previous Avengers film garnered a response of 230 million views and the first trailer for the Lion King remake garnered a response of 224 million views. By breaking the previous record by over fifty million views, it’s fair to say that the newest Avengers film has already made history.
The new Avengers film will hit theaters on April 26th 2019. In the meantime, check out the first trailer for the upcoming Hollywood blockbuster.
