Atlanta Hawks are looking to bring in any and all help on the wing after they lost their starting wingman DeMarre Carroll to the Toronto Raptors at the start of free agency.
They don’t have a ton of money to use in their efforts to get more talent on the team but they will use what they have to bring in an NBA Champion. They have come to an agreement with former Golden State Warriors guard Justin Holiday, the older brother of New Orleans Pelicans guard Jrue Holiday.

The Hawks reached a contract agreement with Justin Holiday Wednesday, according to several people familiar with the situation. The deal is for two years fully guaranteed.
Holiday confirmed the agreement on social media Wednesday night. “I am excited to join the Atlanta Hawks. Thank you for the opportunity,” he posted on Twitter. Holiday also thanked Warriors teammates, coaches and fans in another post.

Holiday played in 59 games last season for the Warriors averaging 4.3 points and 1.2 rebounds in 11.1 minutes. Holiday has appeared in 68 career NBA games, including four starts, averaging 4.4 points, 1.3 rebounds in 11.8 minutes.
This move won’t shake the earth and change the landscape in the Eastern Conference but who knows what the Hawks can do with a wing player that is hungry to prove his worth. DeMarre Carroll came out of nowhere, why not Justin Holiday?
