The Michael Fassbender led Assassin’s Creed movie adaption has been pushed back from its original date of August 7, 2015 to sometime in 2016. It’s being reported that the push back is due to several script rewrites and schedule issues.
If you don’t know much about the Assassin’ Creed franchise, here’s the plot synopsis for the upcoming film.
A bartender is captured by a large corporation and is forced into a machine, named “The Animus”, allowing him to relive the memories of his ancestors — Most of whom are Assassins — to retrieve powerful and dangerous artifacts.
Also, if you’re a fan of the series and scared the script may not follow the game, Ubisoft has started their own film company and partnered with New Regency to keep all creative control for the movie. Stick with us for any updates on the film that emerges.
