If you haven’t watched HBO’s new cartoon series Animals, then you’re missing out. I was a little late (6 episodes late) to the show, however, once I took the time to catch up to the series created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano, my attention was fully engaged. The show brings to life animal and human situations and create a comedic twist that is sick and hilarious at the same time. Having been caught up with all the episodes I’m hooked, then show is smart, gross, honest, and simply some of the better cartoons to rival Archer, Bob’s Burgers, American Dad, and all the other popular shows.
That said, A$AP Rocky and Ferg do voice-overs for the show and premiered a new song from the executive produced Mark Duplass (The League, Togetherness, and The Mindy Project) and Jay Duplass show. You can catch the show Fridays at 11:30pm EST.
