When Denzel Washington gives you his stamp of approval, you would think there’s not much more to say. Still, somehow, some way, Samara Cyn finds the slickest punch lines and smoothest flows to remind everyone why she’s one of the brightest emerging stars in all of music, and her latest collaboration with Armani White, “GHOST,” is yet another reminder.
Paying homage to super producer Pharrell Williams, the Platinum-selling West Philadelphia artist pushes classic loops and anthemic production to the forefront yet again as he dances on the record with a series of slick, quotable lines followed by a haunting hook before passing the baton to Samara Cyn.
“B—h, I float. And when I leave, she feelin’ my ghost,” Armani White raps before Samara Cyn steps in. “And shorty blocked, but she still in my post. I keep a Glock tucked on me, no holster. [It’s] a light flex, but I’m doin’ the most. And when I leave, she feelin’ my ghost.”
“Y’all b—s ain’t on shit. Y’all b—s don’t want this,” Samara Cyn opens her guest verse. “[You] think you got a church nigga ’til he see Cyn. [I] gave that boy the spirit. Good God, that’s a smooth b—h.”
Between her collaboration with Ovrkast. earlier this year and her latest track with Armani White, Samara Cyn is quickly building a reputation as a feature killer. If you don’t believe me, check out Armani White’s “GHOST,” featuring Samara Cyn below.
