Late last year, Jacquees nearly broke the internet when he declared himself the “King of R&B” in the current generation. As one would expect, many shot back by declaring Chris Brown the “King of R&B” at the moment. Of the class following Brown, fans can debate whether Bryson Tiller, Tory Lanez, Daniel Caesar, 6lack or a number of other artists will be the “King of R&B” once Brown calls it quits. Among the next crop of R&B artists is California’s own, Arin Ray.
Ray made his first big splash last year with his project, Platinum Fire. The latest release from Ray spawned his breakout single, “We Ain’t Homies” featuring YG. Since then, Ray has stayed consistent by collaborating with Earth Gang, Justine Skye and a number of other artists. Today, Ray took some time to drop a visual for the next single off of Platinum Fire, “Reckless”.
Capitalizing off the success of his last project, Ray has been travelling around on tour lately. He recently just did his first sold out show in Toronto. Given the re-release of his 2018 project, one could expect Ray to extend the tour a little bit longer. In the meantime, check out the video and be sure to stay tuned for more on his tour.
