Ariana Grande has confirmed that she is coming with a new project before the month of October ends. In an unexpected tweet, she wrote, “I can’t wait to give you my album this month.”

The pop star did not provide any other details regarding the project. If she follows through with her promise, it would mark her first new release in more than 18 months. At the beginning of 2019, she delivered her most eye-popping project yet, Thank You, Next. Her fifth studio album debuted at number one with 360,000 units sold in its first week. It would go on to earn two Grammy nominations and be named Billboard’s best album of the year.
Grande’s release will play a major role in what is already expected to be a crowded fourth quarter. Drake, J. Cole and Adele are rumored to have new projects on the way. Rihanna and Kendrick Lamar could also release new music at any time. Not to mention, Beyoncé has been awfully quiet. Needless to say, 2020 is far from over.
