Sunday for the Houston Texans went from bad to worse, real quick. Not only did they get blown out by the Miami Dolphins on the road, it appears that an injury to their best offensive player might have ended his season.
Arian Foster, who returned only a few weeks ago from an injury that saw him miss time early in the season, went down in the fourth quarter of the blowout loss.
Foster was carted off the field with a non-contact leg injury late in the fourth quarter of Houston’s 44-26 embarrassing loss to Miami. Foster came off the line of scrimmage and went nowhere. He immediately collapsed and it just didn’t look like an ideal situation.
Immediately after the game, Texans coach Bill O’Brien said of the injury, “It obviously didn’t look good.”

Without Foster, the Texans will have to turn back to Alfred Blue, who didn’t touch the ball much in Foster’s early season absence. Foster himself was only averaging 2.6 yards per carry in four games this season. In total, Foster rushed the ball 45 times for 104 yards, with one rushing touchdown. He also had 17 receptions for 161 yards and two touchdowns on the season.
The only real threat left on the roster for Houston is DeAndre Hopkins. Good luck, Texans fans.
