Over the last few years, Dreamville has done an incredible job of molding and developing new talent. In 2011, Bas arrived with the release of Quarter Water Raised Me Vol. 1. During the next few years, Dreamville expanded with artists and producers like Elite and Omen. Then, Cozz hopped on the scene with the release of Cozz & Effect. Now, Dreamville is moving forward with the development of J.I.D and EarthGang. With all of this going on, J. Cole has ventured into the world of R&B thanks to the first lady of Dreamville, Ari Lennox, who is now ready to release her debut album, Shea Butter Baby.
Ari Lennox has emerged as a new voice in R&B with tracks like “Backseat” and projects like Pho. More recently, she showed out with her breakout single, “Shea Butter Baby”. With everything going in her favor, she’s decided to release the follow-up to her project, Pho. Today, the Washington, D.C. native took to social media to unveil the official track list for her debut studio album. The project is set to feature artists like J. Cole and JID and producers like ELITE, Hollywood JB, Masego and more.
