
Apple Original Films and MARV have set a release date for their upcoming film, Argylle. Released in partnership with Universal Pictures, the Matthew Vaughn-led spy thriller will arrive in theaters on February 2, 2024. After launching in theaters, the film will live on Apple TV+.
There is no trailer for the film just yet, but it will follow “the globe-trotting adventures of super-spy Argylle across the U.S., London and other exotic locations.” Led by Matthew Vaughn, the cast includes Samuel L. Jackson, Ariana DeBose and Dua Lipa. Henry Cavill, Bryce Dallas Howard, Sam Rockwell, Bryan Cranston, Catherine O’Hara and John Cena will also appear in the picture. Behind the screen, Vaughn will serve as the film’s director while Jason Fuchs develops the script.
Vaughn steps into the director’s chair for the first time in two years. Previously, the star actor earned director’s credits for The King’s Man. He has also directed Kick-Ass, X-Men: First Class, Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
