This year, fans said farewell to a number of iconic figures in the world of pop culture. Throughout the past twelve months, we’ve lost the likes of Stan Lee, Mac Miller and many more. Among the many we said goodbye to was the “Queen of Soul”, Aretha Franklin. At the age of seventy-six, Franklin fell victim to a pancreatic tumor. While she is gone, her life and career will never be forgotten.
